Miriam Moss, Director of Style, supervises all in-room styling and the highest standard of housekeeping services for guests and visitors of the resort. She previously served as Director of Housekeeping at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa and is a true expert in her field.  During her four-year tenure at the Westin, Moss was recognized as Manager of the Quarter and Manager of the Year.  She also served as Rooms Manager at the Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa and Assistant Director of Housekeeping at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa.  Her strong background and familiarity of rooms-related responsibilities are qualities key to enhancing the efforts of InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa to provide unparalleled and impeccable housekeeping services to guests.

Q:  What was the number one reason you decided to join our team at InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa?

A:                 I wanted to be part of a resort that is going to offer exceptional service and will be absolutely beautiful. 

 

Q:  What is something about you no one would ever guess when they first meet you?

A:                Most people don’t know that I grew up on a farm. 

 

Q:  How did you get started in the hotel industry?

A:                 I started out working at the Convention and Visitors Bureau in Tucson.

 

Q:  What’s your favorite way to relax?

A:                 My favorite way to relax is on a float in the pool with a good book.  I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family and I love trying new restaurants. 

 

Q:  If you could plan a month-long trip anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A:                 I would plan a trip in a motor home (one with all the bells and whistles) driving around the country with my husband and my dog.
